Privacy Policy

CrewApps is a private web application used to manage aviation-related tools, including roster, calendar, and contact workflows. This policy explains how CrewApps handles personal data and Google user data when you connect a Google Account.
Data CrewApps Accesses
When you connect a Google Account, CrewApps requests only the Google OAuth scopes needed for the enabled calendar and contacts features:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email- used to identify the connected Google Account.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.calendarlist.readonly- used to read the list of calendars and locate the calendar used for CrewApps roster events.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events.owned- used to read, create, update, and delete roster events on calendars owned by the connected Google Account.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/contacts- used to read, create, update, and organize Google Contacts and contact group memberships.
CrewApps may also process roster details, flight duties, crew names, contact details, staff numbers, and related operational notes when those features are used.
How Google Data Is Used
CrewApps uses Google Calendar access to locate the configured roster calendar, remove outdated CrewApps-created roster entries for the selected date range, and create updated roster events.
CrewApps uses Google Contacts access to create, update, and organize contacts required by the contacts synchronization feature.
CrewApps uses the connected Google Account email address to show which account is connected and to keep the correct OAuth token associated with the correct CrewApps user.
Data Storage
CrewApps stores Google OAuth tokens so that scheduled and background calendar or contacts jobs can continue to run without asking you to reconnect every time. Calendar and contacts data may be read while a feature is running, but CrewApps is not intended to be a long-term archive of your Google Calendar or Google Contacts content.
Application logs may contain operational metadata, such as whether a synchronization succeeded or failed. CrewApps avoids using logs as a place to store full Google Calendar or Google Contacts content.
Data Sharing
CrewApps does not sell Google user data. CrewApps does not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, credit decisions, or resale. CrewApps does not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the user-facing CrewApps features you request, comply with law, protect the application, or operate infrastructure used by CrewApps.
CrewApps writes data to Google Calendar and Google Contacts only through the Google APIs authorized by the connected Google Account.
Limited Use
CrewApps' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google user data is used only to provide or improve the visible calendar and contacts features in CrewApps. Google user data is not used to train generalized artificial intelligence models.
Security
CrewApps uses HTTPS in production and stores OAuth tokens in the application database. Access to the application and its production systems is limited to authorized operators. If a Google token is revoked, removed, or becomes invalid, CrewApps must request authorization again before using the affected Google APIs.
Retention and Deletion
Google OAuth tokens are retained while the Google Account remains connected. You can remove the Google connection from CrewApps, and CrewApps will delete the stored Google account connection and ask Google to revoke the token.
You may also revoke CrewApps access from your Google Account security settings. After access is revoked, CrewApps cannot continue using Google Calendar or Google Contacts unless you reconnect the account.
Changes
CrewApps may update this policy when features, data use, or Google API scopes change. If CrewApps materially changes how Google user data is accessed or used, the application will update this policy before using Google user data in the new way.
Contact
For privacy questions or Google data access requests, contact the CrewApps operator using the support contact configured on the Google OAuth consent screen.
